Kymberlee Jay sent out a warm welcome to all Street Cheer Crews and The Street Cheer Team headed down south to represent Street Cheer at such an influential event. Topping the standard last year there were performances from:

Beware-Street Cheer Copycats!!
As Street Cheer is growing so rapidly, which is fab, there is lots of interest surrounding Street Cheer, and as a result we have encountered a few copycat Street Cheer events, courses and workshop type sessions.

These events/sessions are not run by ourselves and we cannot ensure the quality, safety or insurance at these events. Therefore we advise you to be wary of any such events not:

a) run by UKCA
b) endorsed by UKCA

And please please check credentials of any events/courses using our name. We want you guys to keep developing as coaches but not via dodgy training.

Street Cheer Intermediate Skills 2009
The launch of Street Cheer Intermediate Skills in June 2009.  For all you coaches chomping on the bit for the next level of Street Cheer you guys don’t have to wait to long! Courses will be rolling out from June so keep your eye on the British Gymnastics website http://www.british-gymnastics.org/ under cheerleading courses and diary dates for courses in your area.  But if you cannot wait for new material until then, then check out the Street Cheer choreography DVD (details above).  This DVD will give coaches up to date and fresh choreography ideas.  It includes new warm ups, new routines, Cheer’s and Chant’s with exclusive choreography and a stretch section
