STREET CHEER THE BEGINNING

Street Cheer launched in 2007 with the support of UKCA, the United Kingdom Cheerleading Association and StreetGames, a national charity that focuses on bringing doorstep activity to deprived areas.

Street Cheer now boasts over 850 trained coaches, thousands of participants nationwide, and Regional and Nationals competitions every year. 

Media coverage has been fantastic including the Allstar Cheerleading game for the Nintendo Wii Playstation. The latest edition of the popular ‘Bring it On’ Cheerleading movies ‘Fight to the Finish’ featuring American songster Christian Milan was launched in the UK in conjunction with Street Cheer. The year came to a lovely lose, with Street Cheer performances featured on the admired childrens TV programme Blue Peter.   

The appealing feature of Street Cheer is the team spirit and family connection at work within the concept. Classes are a place for like people to come together, have fun, get fit and produce something amazing in the process.
